When incorporating iCal links to calendar, would prefer user name not show Merged

We incorporate iCal links for each of our buildings. The system pulls the information including the user name who requested the space as well as the organization. We would like for the user name not to show on the public calendar. We went through IT with this as we just started this system but were told it was not possible at this time.
