View Calendar Permission Should Allow User To See Group and Event Info Instead of N/A

I am trying to provide the appropriate level of permissions to someone (under our direction) who only needs to be able to view the calendar details to see what the events and associated groups are. Unfortunately, unless I give them the View Reports permission, they won’t be able to see the Group and Event information when they look at the calendar. I say unfortunately as I do not want them to have the ability to run reports. It would be great if the View All Requests permission provided the permission to see the Groups and Event Names on the Calendar.
