Canceled Events Display Merged

We either need the strikethrough to come back or be able to have the setting that only administrators can see canceled events on the calendar. I need to see canceled events for history purposes but it doesn't necessarily need to be seen by our building admins, just administrator roles. If that can't happen, we need the strikethrough back now. I know this has been a submitted idea before in some fashion but it is high demand now.
