It would be helpful if an email was sent to the Administrator that a request has been submitted in the system. As my district's only Facility Use Specialist, I would like to know when a new request has been submitted in the system so I can keep track of the approval process. Currently, once a request is submitted the first person in the approval process is the only one who receives the email of the new request.
Additionally, I feel it would also be helpful for the requestor to get email updates as their request goes through the approval process.

This is an additional notification for PENDING events. It will ensure you get all notifications for an event when it's pending and submitted. I think this would be what you're looking for unless you want a separate email per approval step. Can you confirm?
Also, requestors should get email updates at all times. They wouldn't get an email for each step. So, if that is what you're looking for, please let me know!
