Assigned Users filter option control request

We noticed in one of the recent releases that you can filter on events for assigned users. We also noticed that this filtering option shows on our public calendar and there is not way to turn that off.

This is showing more information than we would like to show on our Public calendar filter options. Giving us the ability to control that under Display settings would be ideal.
