When I need to add a new person to an approval path I always just added steps and deleted others so I can get people where they need to be in the approval process.
I did not know that you could just click in one of the step spaces and search for the user you want on that step. It would be beneficial if there was either a magnify glass or something at the steps that make it more apparent you can search the steps.
If that is not something we can do then being able to reorder the steps on the approval path would be extremely helpful as well

it is important to be able to re-order the steps. I just found out that I have to add an approver to the first position of each of our 11 approval paths. I know have to delete 50 approvers, add the new “first” approver, and then re-add the previous 50 approvers.
If we had the ability to change the order of the currently entered approvers, I could just add the new approver and move her to the top of the list.
