Ability to edit fields onto requests even if field was not on space at time of request

We have some situations where we would like the ability to edit fields onto requests where fields were not included at time of submission, and would not want to have to resubmit to get fields onto the requests, so the ability to edit fields onto requests that are not included at the space would greatly assist.
